Patrick Wolf - Lupercalia

刚认识Patrick Wolf时是听他的第四章专辑《The Bachelor》，总觉得这张专辑泰国炫耀华丽而不近人情。（是的，你有才华，但是要这样吗？感觉那些歌曲对我起不了什么作用。）但是最新的第五专辑《Lupercalia》却是惊喜。意义上和歌词积极许多，编曲上也很触动人心。这是一张他得到爱情的滋润、歌颂爱情的专辑。专辑充满了爱和希望，听了真让人开心。管弦编曲恰到好处，直接和人心起作用。

Patrick Wolf's 5th album "Lupercalia" (means spring clean in ancient) turns out to be a happy, hopeful with loves album. Those feeling of too-much from the last The Bachelor has been tuned down. Lupercalia is much more listenable then The Bachelor. I feel the music is making much more sense with the songs. Then I wish he continues feeling loves and create more albums about hope and love.

Zee Avi - Ghostbird

现在已经是午夜。身心疲倦。如常地启动了电脑却没有继续干活的意志力。正想起Zee Avi。Zee Avi终于推出第二张专辑《Ghostbird》！她的声音清新、舒缓，简单干净。首先听到的是这首名为“The Book of Morris Johnson”的单曲，但是在她的网页试听了这首“Swell Window”，就非常开心和如常地喜欢她的声音。

Zee Avi's 2nd album Ghostbird is finally out! Her voice is much anticipated. I heard the first single, The Book of Morris Johnson, and liked it. And then I heard another song from her website, Swell Window, and even like it more. Yes, Zee Avi is finally around my ears again.

Ken Hirai - Ashiteru

最近都在听平井坚的歌，好像不能不听他的美声，有种舒缓紧张情绪的作用。这种狂热的心情很久没有。所以，一有瘾，就让它持续。我以前一直听见他的名字，就是没有好好仔细地听他的歌声。最近真是一听不能收拾。我也蛮喜欢这种感觉。

Sofia Coppola - Somewhere

去年看了苏菲亚·哥普拉《Somewhere》(迷失某地)的预告片，我就期待着。自从《迷失东京》后，我就一直期待着苏菲亚。去年这部电影在威尼斯电影节荣获了最高荣誉的金狮奖。故事讲述尊尼这好莱坞演员住在马蒙堡酒店过着非常优裕的明星生活，每天沉迷女色和药物，对生活感到十分迷惘。某日，他的亲生女儿突然出现。在这短短的相处的日子，他决定改变。

今年，我终于看了这部电影。我的感觉是，所有精彩的精华和我期待的配乐，看预告就够了。比起《迷失东京》实在没得比；比起《Marie Antoinette》，故事的情节还是比较说的过去。没有什么太过需要去在意的。

張震嶽 A Yue - OK 2010

这首歌是一贯张震嶽放纵不羁的风格。我依然觉得这种音乐很酷，所以很喜欢听。这算是中文歌曲的一种rap的方式吧。很多时候中文的饶舌歌曲很难真的能相融一起，但是偏偏A Yue的歌就是他那套自己的音乐感触。所以感觉上很独特。再说下去我就不知道自己在说什么，可能有些醉意了吧。或许，他的音乐在微微的醉意有特别的蒸发效果。

There was a reason why I like A Yue. This song sounded like a rap song, yet it blended in with the eastern culture. Well, kind of. At least it did not feel awkward. He had this coolness of freedom. This song "OK 2010" was released with the album "Empty Handed". Enjoy!

Ken Hirai - Yume no Mokou de

终于听完了平井坚的最新专辑《Japanese Singer》，这首Yume no Mokou de (梦のむこうで (映画「星守る犬」主题歌))收录在专辑中。这是一首浪漫抒情歌，尝过爱情味道的人都听得出其中的情意。在这列特地和大家分享。其实专辑里有一首歌我特别喜欢的歌，很活泼、很爵士，平井坚的确很放胆地去唱，将自己美丽的嗓音诠释的有如其外观一样帅气。这首歌是Girls 3X。听得很过瘾。

Finally I had a brief listen of Ken Hirai's latest album "Japanese Singer". It achieved the standard and hardly anyone would ignore it or just treat it as another thing. His vocal performance was brilliant. This song, Yume no Mokou de, was a love song that will touch our hearts with all those feelings of love. There was another song, which I love most, it was called "Girls 3X". He showed his playfulness with his vocal and it was brilliant. Jazzy and lively and moving. Ken Hirai can be very playful, especially with his voice. Love it!

Ken Hirai - With My Eyes Closed

平井坚乘着电影《在世界的中心呼唤爱情》的大热，连带他这首“瞳をとじて”（轻闭双眼）也红遍全亚洲。电影是多么的凄美动人，小说由片山恭一撰写，可惜，我还没看这本小说。但是，平井坚唱这首歌实在动人。他被誉为美声王子其实没有过誉，实至名归！不削一切的我好像也没有这么慷慨赞赏别人，我想，那只是我自己一厢情愿喜欢。他的声音的确有某种不能抗拒的魅力。说真的，我在这几天才真正地去“聆听”他的音乐，一首一首曲听，惊喜真是不少！继续加油吧！Ganbate kudasai!

This song "With My Eyes Closed" by Ken Hirai is everyone's heart-touching song. It gained more famous because of the heart-melting film "Crying Out Love , In The Center of The World". It was a sad song and Hirai's vocal greatly interpreted the emotion. Hirai is brilliant in using his vocal to bring out the emotion. Ken Hirai has not only proved that he was a great singer with gifted voice, he was truly a talented songwriter. FULLY talented!

Elizabeth & the Catapult - Thank You For Nothing

这几晚很早就睡去了。真的很疲倦，像耗尽了体力脑力。回到家，倒在床上，在起来洗澡，然后随便上网听音乐，接着就要睡觉。现在感觉能睡饱醒来再工作时一件很简单就能满足的事情。我尤其喜欢一边听音乐一边入睡。这个晚上，听着Elizabeth & The Catapult的Thank You For Nothing，慢慢培养睡意，准备要安详地睡去。

This was the first time I heard of Elizabeth & The Catapult. I was particularly interested at this song Thank You For Nothing especially at this hour before bedtime. Bedtime is great, lovely and falling asleep is such a romantic moment we say goodbye to the hectic waking life. Elizabeth & The Catapult is a indie rock band based at Brooklyn. It guessed this was the song I went to bed with.

Ken Hirai - My Grandfather's Clock

平井坚唱这首"古老的大钟"唱得非常好。这支MV很简单，所呈现的只是平井坚的唱功。他应该是一个很喜欢唱歌的人。要不然为何可以唱得那么好，就像那些日日夜夜一直在练功的人。那些需要铺排感情的慢歌是他的擅长。听了之后你也不会忘记他动人的声音。真是天赐。

I had this Ken Hirai fever throughout the weekend. After listening to Ken Hirai's songs these days again and again, I was totally impressed of his gifted vocal and song interpreting skills. From 1995 till now, he must have put a lot of afford in it. Not only he sings well, he write songs we love to listen and get touched.

平井堅 - Japanese Singer

我一直认为，要能唱好live的歌手才是真正的歌手。平井坚真是一个实力派歌手，能谢词作曲兼擅演绎。最近疯狂在听Ken的歌时，发现他退出最新专辑《Japanese Singer》，我恨不得去买，结果我只找到他的旧专辑，也不顾一切就买了（Ken's Bar II及Ken Hirai 10th Anniversary Complete Single Collection '95-05）。我终于相信为何他被誉为日本国民天王。他超好的唱功和声线是最好的享受。我在网上找到这支MV，乃是他在专辑中的单曲“Sing Forever”之演绎。Sing Forever是一首蛮激励的R&B+Gospel的歌，让我想起Michael Jackson。平井坚再一次证明了他的实力。不要忘记看他常live哟！

Ken Hirai - Pop Star

朋友在facebook分享平井坚的现场演唱录影“轻闭双眼”，造成我这一周一直在燃烧平井坚热。这首发自2005年的Pop Star非常好听。我看了这Pop Star的音乐录影无数次，心情非常愉快。MV很cute，那种简单的颜色和可爱的动物人像很容易就取悦我。舞蹈动作一点都不夸张，很cute。平井坚收起了平时的酷，化成人见人爱的Pop Star!超爱听。

Ken Hirai's 2005 single "Pop Star" was still very impressive, even I just found out this day. I have heard of his name and listened to several songs of his, but I did not really make an afford to go through his music.
