Christophe Honoré - Les Bien-Aimés

法国导演Christophe Honoré的歌舞剧情新片《Les Bien-Aimés》（被爱的人）是今年康城电影的闭幕片。这位导演一直受到康城影展的青睐，多部电影都得展出。继Les chansons d'amours后，再拍一部歌舞电影，音乐依然找来拍档Alex Beaupain合作。

电影在巴黎、伦敦以及布拉格三地取景。故事分为两段，一段发生在上世纪六十年代，性开放和女性解放的黄金年代，巴黎女子随新婚丈夫到了布拉格，然而俄国坦克开进这座城市迫使两人的分离。第二段是在三十年后，九十年代的人们体会到了爱滋病的恐怖，害怕承诺是一种世纪病，巴黎女子的女儿在伦敦遇到了一见钟情的新爱，但她失去勇气，认为自己没有相爱的能力。

She joint Club 27 on July 23rd 2011. (I kept typing 2001, what's wrong with me?) She was brilliant. Her voice was unique and unforgettable. I was drawn to Rehab completely. Please stop 'poor'-ing her. She became a legend. I love the album "Back to Black". R.I.P. Winehouse.

Google: Extra Spicy

众所周知translate.google.com还未达到智能翻译的地步，如果全部照抄，除了懒惰真的没有其它借口。请用脑想一想，如果你的翻译和Google translate一模一样，谁还有你翻译？谷歌百般心思设计translate.google.com，其实还有一个很实际的作用 - 它备有各种语言的发音。以下这则广告就是跟着translate.google.com的功能，没有拐弯直接诠释其功能的广告。说真的，其魅力不在广告本身，而是产品本身的功能。

These two girls used tranlsate.google.com to order Indian take away in Hindi. Even the function was not smart enough, but it was good enough to get them order what they wanted in Hindi. So basically it is a brilliant tool to learn a new language. It won some Cannes Lions this year in internet film category. The idea was damn simple, just showing the innovative function of Google translate. I reckoned most of the users have already been using translate.google.com even they did not watch this video ad, just like most of us did not see any typical ad of iPad as the product speak fully for itself.

Google Chrome Speed Tests

纽约BBH广告公司为谷歌浏览器Chrome制作了名为“Chrome Speed Tests”的网络视频广告。这则广告用了我们在实验室做实验的方法，去证明Chrome的快速。其实点子很简单，其执行的方式感觉有点像MV。感觉很raw，也很好玩。大家知道其真正的速度测量法并非如此比较，但是讯息很明显，就是Chrome一点都不慢。说真的，如果能够为空前绝后的科技产品作广告，首先只要把焦点放在产品的功能就已经很interesting。

An internet film by BBH New York, Chrome Speed Tests, won a gold in Cannes Lions 2011. Three school-liked experiments has been done to show the speed of Google Chrome is as fast as those experiment speeds.

SonyEricsson - Android is Ready to Play

最近在做Sony Ericsson Xperia Play的电台广告。在网上搜寻资料时顺便看了几则电视广告的作品。故事很简单，就是替Andriod机器装上真人的拇指。一则看见Android有了新拇指，另一则则是一男人给人在酒下迷药第二天醒来就不见周拇指。就这样，不能用作电台，只好想别的。

Sony Ericsson introduced its lastet phone Xperia Play. It is a PlayStation certified phone. So cool that we can play anytime anywhere with those PlayStation controls on the phone. The campaign was called "Android si Ready to Play", the ad showed extra thumbs were added surgically (such as those kidney is kidnapped) on the Android. Click to watch the other ad: The Donor.

Sunday Preview - One Day / Last Night

我喜欢《One Day》，单是点子，我就已经爱上了。电影改编自David Nicolls的同名小说《One Day》。每一个章次，写他们在每一年的同一天里发生的故事，持续20年。所以在电影里，我们看见Anne Hathaway和Jim Sturgress从80年代末的大学青春期演至熟男熟女时期，真是好让人期待。我希望看这部电影前，先读小说。感觉上，小说的孤寂感会比较浓厚。

《Last Night》由Massy Tadjedin自编自导，故事讲述一对热恋夫妻，老婆在老公出差是重遇旧爱，从来没外遇的老公在出差时和性感同事有性火花。这故事的卡士不错，我很喜欢Keira Knightley的气质。突然这部电影让我想起《CLoser》。

I love the idea of One Day - each chapter reviewing a day of their lives for 2o years. The film was adapted from the novel written by David Nicolls. I would love to read the book before I watch the movie.

Saturday Preview - Revolution

今天是马来西亚Bersih2.0行动，民众为争取公正干净的选举制度而上街表达民意。全国人民心情异常感动。在此，给大家推荐革命和战争的电影。

墨西哥电影《Revolución》“革命”收录了10部短片，通过当代新晋导演诠释100年后的墨西哥。墨西哥革命发生在1910年，当时的独裁总统费里奥·迪亚斯被革命者推翻，可是因为不同派别的革命者矛盾不断而引发了长达20年的内战。此部电影计划由Gael García Bernal和Diego Luna主催，在百年后再次探讨墨西哥的近况。

另外，有部新电影叫《Amigo》“朋友”，由John Sayles导演。故事讲述在1900年的美国菲律宾战争，美国部队进入了一个乡镇追捕游击队。故事就是东南业国家熟悉的故事。

Big Ass - Deep in My Heart

泰国青春喜剧电影《SuckSeed》（音为爱）的摇滚主题曲乃由泰国乐团Big Ass（大屁股乐团）演唱。Big Ass是泰国流行摇滚乐团。单听这首“Deep in My Heart”，觉得他们并非一般的流行摇滚，而是比较庞克摇滚。Big Ass从1997年开始流行到现在，总共发了六张专辑。第一张专辑《Not Bad》他们获得了最佳新人。第五张专辑《Begins》他们赢得了最佳摇滚组合。

And yes, GTH did it again. SuckSeed was a funny teenage movie with pop rock music. Such a great formula for commercial film and I wonder why it was not applied here. Teenagers' hormones + rock music + handsome boys pretty girls and voila, we have SuckSeed. And the rock song is sung by famous Thai rock band Big Ass. I love the band name. Pom chorp Big Ass!
