Xavier Dolan - Heartbeats

我經常聽見這句話：“成名要趁早”。大家說的那個早，就是所謂的青春。加拿大籍演員兼導演Xavier Dolan生於1989年。他的首部電影《我殺了我媽》（J'ai tué ma mère）在2009年康城影展導演週贏得三獎。第二部電影《Les Amours Imaginaires》(幻想的愛) 在2010年康城影展一種單元系列首映，贏得青年大獎。 《Les Amours Imaginaires》裡，一男一女好友同時愛上一男造成關係分裂。

這部電影我看了，顏色和服裝搶眼，slo-mo鏡頭配上BANG-BANG等這些歌曲拍得stylish。劇本一般，沒什麼驚喜。可是，對於一個21歲的年輕人而言，這可以是不得了的鼓勵。如果這位年輕導演繼續努力下去，真成名可以早發生。經驗的累積很重要。尤其喜歡vintage的現代人，都是因為老字號和長久或幾代累積下來的技術。雖然成名早很好，但是只要努力成了名，遲些也不遲。

Canadian actor and film director Xavier Dolan young and with all the energies that come from youth. His second feature film Les Amours Imaginaries (Heartbeats) is about the love affections among the young trio. It premiered at 2010 Cannes Festival under Un Certain Regard category and won a youth award. Being young is great, it seems like the future is possible. I watched the film, it was stylish and teeny. I always believe that a style needs time to settle. So go ahead and make make more films!
