Amos Lee的名字因为他的那首“Colors”而留下了一个大概的印象。他是谁，背景如何，或和谁有瓜葛，我相信有一天我会慢慢去发现。他曾经为许多歌手的巡回演唱会当表演嘉宾。我一直对他的音乐感兴趣，我在想他的音乐属于什么类型。在知道原来他是在Blue Note之下，就感觉“原来是Blue Note”。那些爵士、民谣、节奏滥调的感觉有渐渐加深对Amos Lee的印象。
Amos Lee本是一名教师。最终决定投身歌唱事业，在2005年首张同名专辑开始了他的歌唱之路。我要佩服他的勇气和追求，要放弃某样事情和追逐自己的梦想，就像拿自己的人生作赌注。到现在2011年的第四张专辑《Mission Bell》，成绩正慢慢一点一滴累积。我有羡慕的，在我发现他也出生于1978年。
他的声音有种安抚的作用，紧张兮兮的我听他的歌可以安静许多。这首单曲“Stay with Me”要纳入情人节合辑也是不错的。

He was once a teacher who dared to dream, or at least I thought he dared to dream.
