Delicious Birthday Dinner


去年12月赴囍宴三次,累计了许多额外的脂肪、碳水化合物,而且在亲朋戚友面前难免战战兢兢。这是2011年第一次和成群好友庆祝好友的生日。现在这把年纪,很少和同辈朋友庆生。如果真邀请我去的,都是难得的好朋友。友人ten选了坐落Bangsar的Delicious餐馆。装潢干净利落,食物也获好评。点了一瓶Pinot Grigio等待好友陆续到来。

前菜点了炸葱圈、炸蘑菇、蒜末烤面包配茄子、蘑菇和晒干小番茄。主餐各自点各之所好。很多朋友点了各类的意大利粉,这里的意粉还真的不错,如Smoked Salmon Angelhair、Homemade Pesto Spaghettini、Aglio Olio Spaghettini。唯独我和Mei因皆尝过热门意粉,就点蘑菇意粉(Mushroom Mascarpone Spaghettini),但实在吃不下去。蘑菇太咸,加了芫荽调味却中不中、西不西,味道奇怪得恕我不能接受。但是我和Mei并没有因此耿耿于怀,还借此大作笑话。朋友相伴,美事乐哉。

Jonathan's 29th birthday celebration at Delicous, Bangsar Village. As I age, I hardly get birthday celebration invitations, as we normally do not celebrate at our age now. Yet, if celebrate, there must be closed friends, and I felt honoured. It was great, simply with food, wine and happy chat. A delicious birthday celebration.
