情節複雜，時間跳敘，突現電影《口是心非》（其他中文片名還有《最佳情敵》）一環扣一環交錯的間諜牽連，讓人質疑愛情的虛實。感覺類似冷戰時期的間諜活動，每個間諜都信不過，都想自保自富。編劇導演安排“麻雀在後”的結局，也不損心情，依然喜歡JuliaRoberts和CliveOwen的演出。
It is sophisticated yet satisfying. I am not too choosy. This is an entertaining adult spy-thriller movie and a bit of rom-com. I always like Julia Roberts. She is pretty and yet she is smart. The plot is clever and far too complicated. I like the chemical reaction between Clive Owen and Julia Roberts, it make me excited and would like to dare and gamble. I gotta salute writer-director Tony Gilroy (the writer of the "Bourne" movies), the plot is brilliant and mature. the jazzy film score is by James Newton Howard, great.
